Part of that is dungeon rebalancing, level 4 seems to be the new 1, but the other half is just dying from stupidity. Nice, I hit level 18 on ZangbandTK with my beastman/warrior but I’ve yet to hit 10 in this one. What would happen if I accidently find some specific dungeon before taking the quest to locate it? Will that quest to find this specific dungeon still be available, or not? If not, I wonder if I should concentrate on exploration-type quests (like “find ruins”) first, before taking other quest types? I assume there is a limited number of such “find ruins/dungeon” quests. I need to get deeper in that starting DeepWater dungeon - most of the upper levels mob do not give me any exp anymore.īTW does anybody know what’s the deal with the quests you get in castles? They seem to offer you a choice of 3-4 different quest types, including “find ruins” quest. My main char (Amberitte Mage) just got lvl 13 (at least 3 of these levels were from outdoors).

Especially now that I have figured out how to set up macros for my most common attack spells. Worked ok for me.īut from level 2 and up death magic is sweet.
To reduce lvl 1 deaths I’ve started to buy bows and cheap arrows for my mages so they could shoot their way through lvl 1. Lvl 1 sucked for my necro/life mage as well.
